The family secret

I am getting ready to lay some pretty huge news on you.  So here it is...Ethan is Allen's long lost child.  Whew!  I'm glad I got that off my chest!  Okay so that is a joke but the similarities between Allen and Ethan BLOW MY MIND!  We could not give birth to a child who acts more like Allen then Ethan.  We obtained Ethan's birth records last week and even the child's feet prints are identical to Allen's!  God is in the details guys!

Here are some examples...

Allen is obsessed with being clean, I value this because a dirty man is not a turn on for me.  But regardless Ethan is obsessed with baths and showers.  He has to have one everyday, if something happens and we postpone a bath to the next morning he goes into panic mode...very much like what would happen if Allen had to postpone a shower. 

I had on a pair of track pants and my hair was a mess yesterday (it was a cleaning day) and Ethan looked at me and said "mommy you should get dressed in weal (real) clothes, have you eben (even) had a bath today?"  Allen says this to me frequently but he has a "nicer" way of putting it.  More along the lines of "baby why don't you take some time for yourself now that I'm home."  LOL

Allen was a terror on wheels as a child (this is what everyone tells me)...Some of the exact same things Allen did as a child to get into trouble Ethan has repeated.  For example when Allen was little he put his cat on a TREADMILL and made it run.  Ethan recently got some markers and put stripes on Gracie our dog. 

Ethan has a boiling point.  Don't cross it.  It takes a lot for it to surface, but once it does look out!  This is a work in progress, but still not where I'd like it to be.  Allen is the same way he will take it and take it and take it but don't mistake him for a man you can run over.  He is very protective over our family, and his values.  Ethan passions are very similar.  Ethan came home from school the other day and he said "mommy i had a bad bad day"  I asked why, he responded "cause Matthew said his daddy played the wii better than my daddy". 

Ethan loves to dress up.  He loves wearing nice pants and a button up shirt.  He especially loves his Sunday suits, he'd wear them everyday of the week.  Allen is the same.  Allen is always a sharp dresser, you'll never see Allen in sloppy clothes. 

SARCASM!  O my word I have a sarcastic husband (and I love it!).  And lo and behold if Ethan doesn't have that same witty sarcasm as his father....LOVE IT.

The list could go on and on these are some things that really stick out in my mind.  I have always heard that you "pay for your raising".  I was unaware that you pay for your spouses raising as well.
