Gabby

I have no updates on Gabby.  We are awaiting a hearing on the case.  I promise if I know something that I'm allowed to share I'll give you guys the details.  But regardless of an update I still have things about gabby that are important to share. 

Beyond a shadow of a doubt Gabby had the ability to capture ANYONE'S heart.  If you ever met Gabby she changed your life.  My grandmother and I were recently talking about it.  She said that never has a child come into her life that she attatched herself to so quickly and so passionately.  I have since asked many many people if she had that impact on them and the vote has been a unanimous YES!  I know of several people (in my family) that had racial barriers.  Gabby broke those. 

God is working out a plan that may or may not include gabby's return to our home.  But I enjoy thinking about all that God allowed to take place in and through Gabby. 

Gabby shaped Allen and I into the parents we are today.
 Gabby proved to me that it doesn't matter if a child comes from my womb or not I will love them and consider them mine. 
Gabby taught me to make every single day with my children count, the future isn't certain. 
Gabby taught me that at the end of the day memories are very important.  Allen and I try to make as many positive memories with our chilren as we can. 
Gabby taught me that the world doesn't revolve around me and MY needs.
Gabby taught me the beauty of rocking a child to sleep.
Gabby taught me a mothers love.

So Gabby whereever you may be please know that we love you, we miss you, we will always be waiting for you to come home, we cherish you, and thank you for coming into our lives.
