Sneak Peek!

Halloween.  Such a controversial subject among Christians and people of faith.  If you're waiting for me to get into that theological/opinionated/hot topic you will be waiting a long time.  Cause I'm not going there.

Growing up I have wonderful memories of Halloween and not one of them had to do with demons, the devil, or anything demonic, ghostly, or scary.  I was never allowed to dress up in any of those costumes, and I was never allowed to participate in haunted houses, or scary type halloween-y activities.  Let me tell you right now even if my parents would have let me I wouldn't have participated anyway.  I'm a scaredy cat.  Always have been, and it's looking like I always will be.

Those rules apply to our children as well.  We DO participate in dressing up for Halloween and trick or treating and we always have a wonderful time.  For us Halloween is a chance to dress up in a fun and cute costume and for my children to find me lots of candy.  We go to church fall festivals, and trunk or treats (a big thing here in TN) and make Halloween a fun, exciting expierience.

So, with that being said we've finally got the boys costumes and I'm going to give you a sneak peek into what our (sweet) little monsters will be dressed up as this year.  Since it's against the rules to post pictures on here of the 2 little boys all you will see is the stores advertised costume picture.  The same goes for the picture of Ethans costume too.  I'm allowed to show you pics of Ethan since he is legally our son, but if I allow him to try on his costume I would never get it off of him.  I'm picking my battles and I'm not picking that one.

Sweet little baby boy will be this incredibly adorable froggy

Our 2 year old monkey will be...YEP!  You guessed it!  A monkey!  This monkey to be exact.

Ethan has begged for 2 years to be a Ninja Turle and we've never been able to find one that didn't look cheap.  We lucked up this year and found a ninja turtle costume that I can be happy with and Ethan is beside himself with excitement about.  For the record I wanted Ethan to be something cute and precious.  He wanted to be a Ninja Turtle.  Guess who won.

With costumes, and boys as cute as ours we are sure to score some good candy!  Which I will eat.  That is one the perks of parenthood!
