The Name...

I'm taking a quick break to share all about the kids Christmas play at church this morning (titled "The Name...).  I really can't put into words how awesome ALL the kids did.  They put in so much hard work and allowed God to use them this morning in mighty ways.  We have one more performance tonight and I can't wait!

We had to change plans about a month ago.  We choose to use the same songs but re-write it and really focus in on the names given to Jesus in Isaiah.  It worked out perfectly, and I am so glad God changed the direction...even if I was nervous about it.

I thought when this was all said and done I would be happy for a break but to be honest I'm itching to find more material for them to start working on.  They enjoy it, and I do too!

I will say I became very overwhelmed and worried the closer the play came with health issues and casting problems I was worried we'd have a glorified train wreck on our hands...and I'd be the conductor.   As with everything you learn something new each time and learn ways how to do things and how not to do things.  So with that knowledge I am headed towards the future with the Life Church Kids and am excited about what is in store!  A few bumps in the road doesn't need to ruin the whole trip...hey I like that.  That's my new motto.

I wasn't able to get a lot of pictures because I was directing and I can't walk and chew gum at the same time let alone direct a children choir and take pics but I am snagging a few from those who were able to take some pics.  There is a wide array from painting props to kids goofing off.

So here you go!   Enjoy!

My Helpmate. Team Pruitt all the way baby!
( Please ignore our horrific garage...please)

Thank you Jesus for overhead projectors, and transparency sheets!

approximately 2:00 AM...pulling all nighters isn't just for college kids.

Getting ready to head out to church

I love this man.

Plotting new ways to embarrass me...honest.
BTW Nicks pants really aren't that short, he was sitting funny.

Bunny ears...they've standed the test of time.

If that ain't a cute bunch of kids I don't know what is!

Sometimes you just need a lap to sit on.
